* Profile of Japan AALA *
- Establishment (Oct. 31st, 1955)
- Japan AALA was first established in Tokyo as Japan Asia Solidarity Committee by such Japanese who inherited the history and tradition of struggle against Japanese aggression in Asia before and during the 2nd World War.
- Since establishment, Japan AALA has been active for solidarity with peoples of Asia, the Middle East (including Palestine), Africa, and Latin America. Japan AALA has participated in the NAM Summit Conferences since the 11th Conference till the 13th (Feb., 2003, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia). [ more information ]
- Present force of Japan AALA
- Japan AALA is, at present, composed of 2,500 individual members and organizations (19 organizations which have 2,790,000 members as a whole). It is a nation-wide organization with 37 prefecture level branch offices in 47 prefectures in Japan.

Holding successful "International Symposium On Non-Aligned Movement and For Development of This Movement Respect For National Sovereignty, Peace, Solution of Hunger and Poverty" (Tokyo 2001/9/15-16), in commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the First Summit Conference of Non-Aligned Countries [ more ]
